The features for the Tricky Trials update were under an experimental toggle, called "Update 1.21". The toggle was used to test 1.21 features before the update is released. In versions where it exists, the toggle must be enabled in order to access the 1.21 features. Java Edition 1.20.6 and Bedrock Edition 1.20.81 were the last versions to have these toggles, and after them, as 1.21 snapshots and previews released, the toggle was removed.
